SGAC Releases the Executive Summary of its 2011 Annual Report

SGAC is proud to release the Executive Summary of the 2011 Annual Report.  The report is available here.

2011 marked a year of continued progress and breakthrough achievements. Highlights include:

  • increasing fundraising revenue by over 50%
  • supporting 35 scholarships and increasing scholarship spend by 75%
  • having representation at 18 global conferences
  • organizing 3 formal SGAC events including the 10th Anniversary of the Space Generation Congress (SGC) in Cape Town, South Africa
  • growing the SGC attendance rate by 30% over 2011 and welcoming 16 high-level speakers including the heads of 4 space agencies to SGC
  • completing 8 publications
  • formalising partnerships with 8 organisations in the space community

Additionally, this Executive Summary of the 2011 Annual Report provides readers with an analysis from the Executive Office of SGAC’s performance in achieving its goals laid out in its 2011 strategy.  SGAC also is proud to share with its community the new format of SGAC reports, in line with SGAC's refreshed branding -- another successful SGAC effort from 2011.
