SGAC Releases Its Strategic Plan for 2012

SGAC is pleased to release its 2012 short and long-term strategy, available here.

The document is structured in multiple parts which include a current situation analysis, a short-term strategy (one year), a mid-term strategy (three year), and a long-term strategy (ten year). Key for SGAC over the next several years will be to continue to build on the reputational growth of the organisation through high quality products and events.  The new key goals for SGAC in 2012 include:

  1. Continuation of efforts towards financial stabilisation
  2. Smooth, seamless leadership transition
  3. Execution of a new SGAC-wide event in North America
  4. Successful execution of the 2012 Space Generation Congress
  5. Focused development of SGAC’s year-round projects
  6. Deepening of relationships with partner organisations
  7. Development of a database for improving alumni relations
  8. Recognition for SGAC through an award

"We are glad and excited to release the new SGAC strategy for 2012 and beyond," said SGAC Co-Chair, Catherine Doldirina.  "We sincerely hope that this document will help guide us to further support the successful development of SGAC and motivate young professionals and students to contribute to our activities!"
