Young Space Activities Overview in Ghana

Currently Ghana does not have a presence in space. The country lacks a space agency and other infrastructure to develop and operate satellites. Historically, Ghana has never been part of any organisation dealing with space and never had any launch capabilities. Further, the country lacks the industrial, educational and political foundations required to sustain a civilian space program. Unfortunately, the current government of Ghana has no plans or any ambitions to get involved in space development or research. Despite the current situation, the youth of Ghana interested in space now can lay a foundation for the future through the SGAC network!
