Welcome to the SGAC Pakistan page! Pakistan is a member of the UN and UN COPUOS. This page contains details on upcoming space related events in Pakistan. Please also check our link section for further information on these events. If you have any questions, the SGAC NPoCs are glad to answer them. Young Space Activities Overview in Pakistan

In Pakistan, in addition to the opportunities provided by SGAC, many space-related activities are organised by various organisations and institutions, such as the Khwarzimic Science Society, the Lahore Astronomical Society, the Society of the Sun and the Pakistan Amateur Astronomers Society. Most of these activities are Falakyati Melas (i.e., Astrofests or public stargazing events). In 2010, various activities were initiated by Pakistan’s National Space Administration (SUPARCO) commemorating the World Space Week. The most active institutions are UET Lahore, Punjab University, and Institute of Space Technology at Islamabad. The future of space activities in Pakistan is promising as more events are being planned to raise awareness of space.
