UN COPUOS Action Teams and Working Groups

SGAC’s prime space policy input is to bring your voice to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS) through participation in several so-called Action Teams and Working Groups.

MoonMars Workshop Lunar Waystation in conjunction with the Planetary Society

The Planetary Society released a document outlining measures to make exploration of the moon and its region of space international and cooperative. This group is reviewing the document and offering feedback to the Planetary Society.

YGNSS - Youth Promoting Cooperation and Education in Global Navigation Satellite Systems

YGNSS is a team of students and young professionals which aims to bring the maximum benefits of GNSS to the future society. It is part of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) Initiatives. SGAC supports the International Committee on GNSS (ICG), an international forum for cooperation on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) recognized by the United Nations. One of the goals of the project team is to provide input to ICG, particularly on matters related to education and public outreach, and act as a medium for information dissemination. The team will conduct promotional activities relating to cooperation in GNSS and GNSS applications.
