DARING TO DREAM
life is such an experience, yet we sometimes just drift from day to day. sometimes we are too busy to take notice of another day turning into yesterday, sometimes our attention is fixed on tomorrow we dont notice today...... or we wish we had a different life altogether and barely live the one we have!
but for all of us there is one thing we wish for that might seem impossible to get in this life ...for whatever reason, but at least we can dream right?
dreaming has its advantages...
-its private and we dont have to tell anyone,
-its far beyond human control so the 'conditions' can't really shape it,
-its one thing we can call ours and actually own, with no competition!
-it can make u wake up with a smile all your own....
-etc
but some dreams do come true! and those are the type we love best!
i dream , i dream, and mine has to do with space..and in my dream, its not so far that i cant reach it, or so harsh that i cant visit it, or so....
what about you?
I am impressed to see this kind of article.Dream is powerful but no matter how powerful your dream may seem if not followed up or backed by action,it may end up like one watching a television.
Again,I am challenged to see information being freely displayed on this site and I am going to add more websites of some space industries or space related industries in Nigeria.
http://www.meteo-nigeria.com/nimet/portal/ for Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET).http://www.nama.gov.ng/about.htm for Nigerian Airspace Space Management Agency.http://www.nema.gov.ng/ for Nigerian Emergency Management Agency.http://www.nigcomsat.org for Nigeria Communication Satellite 1.
Other space related agencies are Globacom, MTN,CELTEL,Multilinks,Visafone,Starcomms,Reltel etc.All these agencies have one thing in common, they used communication satellite or satellite signals to carry out their day to day operation.
my sincere appreciation for the information provided.it will be entered into the wiki at: http://wwwafricaspaceactivities.pbwiki.com
zahrah
This is a ver nice initiative and I would like to contribute my own quota.
I think we need SGC members from other Africa countries to tell us about space impact (penetration) in their countries.
As for Nigeria, I think I can handle that.I had done five years of intensive studies about space activities in Nigeria.
In any areas you want me to be involved just let me know.
Thanks for this wonderful work.Well done
