2010
marks the 10th annual Yuri's
Night global celebration as
well as the 29th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle
flight and the 40th anniversary of the famed Apollo
13 mission!
Last
year, the 2009 executive team to expanded the impact of Yuri's
Night by recruiting
and supporting over 200 events in 47 countries around the world. This was the largest
number of events in the history of Yuri's Night!
Other milestones over the past 10 years have included: an
annual Zero G flight raffle in Houston, a massive
hangar party at NASA Ames with over 3.000 people, and more
than 5,000 trees donated by the Yuri 'Plant-a-Tree'
Mission.
This year we
have continued to grow and expand our global events
and are releasing a series of Yuri's Night Global
