Juergen earned a Diploma of Aerospace Engineering from the Universitaet Stuttgart, Germany, in 2005 and has been working on the SSETI (EXPRESS, ESEO) microsatellites since 2000. He's currently doing a PhD on human space systems design at the Universitaet Stuttgart.
SGC 2006 participant. SGC 2008 volunteer.
