Bio

Having born in a small town called Apaxco, childhood dreams of being an astronaut but conscious of the unfavorable conditions in Mexico and his passion for innovation took him to choose a technological field that might allow him a future opportunity about space; Isra obtained his bachelors degree at the University of Hidalgo in Computer Systems, his thesis focused on the design and implementation of a Wireless Metropolitan Area Network, it was while doing his thesis when an unusual visit of NASA astronaut Jose Hernandez along with the promoter of the Mexican Space Agency to his university inspired him hope for space.

Afterwards Isra did I.T. consulting for the Global company GE in the U.S. and became member of the Mexican American Engineers Society. In a visit to NASA Ames Research Center he realized the lack of opportunities about space in Mexico, since that moment he challenged himself to change that reality for the next generations in Latin America.

With a Masters of Science in Space Management at the International Space University got the opportunity to do an internship at the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency and also had the privilege to work with such a high talented international team project called "FULL MOON" composed for 33 people from 19 countries where it was developed a case study for the development of a gas station on the Lunar surface to store and deliver Lunar Hydrogen and Oxygen for Lunar exploration having collaborated particularly on the Business and Management sub-team. Another of his non-referred publication is the "Recommendations to Develop Mexico's Space Program".

Based on the current global needs Isra is interested in the use of science, technology and education for the pacific, sustainable human-and-environmental development through multicultural understanding on Earth, Moon and Mars. His dream is that one day Latin-American and African children have equal opportunities to enrich the mankind knowledge about the exploration of the Solar system.
